Councillor DavidPARKINSCouncillor David Parkins of Huncoat, best known to many as Dave, passed away peacefully on Sunday 13th September 2026, aged 76 years.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2.30pm, on Wednesday 23rd September 2026, at Accrington Crematorium. People are invited to pay their respects by lining the route from 1.45pm, as the cortege passes down Bolton Avenue, through Huncoat Village and up Lower Gate before making its way down Burnley Road to the crematorium chapel.
