Julie, I still can't believe you're gone.
From our days on Ward 5 at Freeman, to nights out in Whickham with Stu and Andy, introducing us to Jamdani, there were so many laughs and memories that I'll never forget.
I'll always remember chasing Katie and Emma around trying to get your cottage pie into them—sorry girls, your mam was determined you were going to eat it! And even babysitting the dog at times. 🤷😂
The fun we had on Ward 5, the good times from being an HCA and you taking me under your wing when I was a newly qualified staff nurse. You always looked out for me. From the Ward 5 Christmas parties to our night shifts, we had our routine sorted—I'd get the drugs done, Julie would do the obs, settle everyone down, and then order the pizza.
And who could forget tormenting your sister Tracy on Ward opposite
We'd be putting the kettle on while Tracy was still working away. The laughs we had were endless.
Thank you for your friendship, your kindness, your guidance, and all the memories. I will treasure those times forever.
Sleep peacefully, Julie. You'll be missed more than words can say. ❤️ lots of love Ali, Andy, Jack and Olly xxx
