I was lucky enough to have met Angela on many occasions in the last twenty years, at various gigs, and at Tony and Angela’s home when I was in that part of the world.
My happiest memory of time spent with her is actually the last time we met - sitting outside a bar in Jesmond with Angela and and Tony giggling over a beer or two.
It seems impossible that only a couple of years have passed since that day, and this sad news.
She was a genuinely beautiful human being. Kind, witty and with a spiritual dimension to her life that you couldn’t fail to notice.
I am so sorry that she has passed away.
Life dealt Angela a cruel hand which she nevertheless played to the maximum and with enormous dignity and courage.
The world is a smaller place without her.
My thoughts are with all those who knew her but especially her daughter Rebecca and with her soulmate, my friend and colleague Tony.
