Died suddenly in hospital on Sunday 5th October 2025 aged 77 years with his loving family at his side.

Beloved husband of Susan, Adored dad to Sharon & Dean, Kevin and the late Ian. Cherished grandad to Becca & Ann-Marie, Dan, Max, Emily, Harry, Mariska, and great-grandchildren Isaac and the bump.

Please meet for the service at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 4th November at 11:15am.

After the service family and friends are welcome back to the Westerhope Excelsior Club, NE5 5HQ.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired can be made at the service in support of Help For Heroes.

My little dad oh how I’m going to miss you! We were not ready for you to go this suddenly! I’m broken beyond words, if I knew I’d have hugged you tighter and longer and wrapped you in bubble wrap, I hope you know how loved and needed you are, you are the best dad nothing ever too much your heart so big and true, if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever and a day! We love you to the moon and back!
