Dear David, I am desperately sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mum and a much loved friend of Steve and I. As you know we lost Steve 11 years ago, after the loss of your lovely dad, Fred.
Our friendship with your mum and dad spanned 40+years, and always was so special. You must all be devastated, and I can only send my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I was really concerned when Ros’s much happily anticipated Christmas card didn’t arrive. Mine went off in time for a change!
I have a lot of lovely memories of happy times that the four of us shared together, including photos, and remember you, David, as a very charming, shy and happy little boy who was utterly adored by your mum and dad.
Ros talked such a lot about her dear Millie, and I have no doubt about the loss of such a wonderful lady will have left such a massive chasm in your lives.
I will donate to the charity, and if you ever get a chance to send an email, and make contact, David, I would be so grateful to hear from you.
