Dorothy RenePAYNE'Dot' It is with great sadness we announce the loss of Dorothy Rene Payne, of St Osyth, who passed away on 16th November 2021. Wife of the late Dave Payne and beloved mother to Leonard and David. Dorothy was born in Fulham, Moore Park Road and then lived in Hillingdon, Misbourne Road during the 1930s to the late 1950s then Bell Avenue and Coleridge Way in West Drayton until the mid 1980s. She then went to live in St Osyth, Essex with her husband Dave until she passed away. Dorothy, aged 88, will be remembered as a friend to many and a talented local amateur artist. For many years, Dorothy and Dave ran their own cleaning business around the Clacton area, making many friends along the way. A funeral service will be held on 16th December at the Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Church Square, St Osyth at 11.30am. Followed by a service at Weeley Crematorium at 12.30.
