Stanley ArthurPEARCE ('Stan')'Stan' Formerly of the New Inn, Milford and the Navigation Inn, Derby Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital, with his wife by his side, on Friday 16th April 2021, aged 85 years. The devoted husband of Brenda, he was a much loved dad to Warren and Stacey, a dear father-in-law to Tasha and Al and loving grandad to Theo and Felix. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Thursday 6th May 2021. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed, please contact the funeral directors for details. At Stan's request, donations are invited for The Epilepsy Society and Macmillan Nurses. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or sent directly to the charities. I've been looking for Stan and Brenda for years. He was my first boss (at the Navvy) and I'm always quoting his fave sayings🙂
Brenda's pease pudding rolls were a big fave of mine.
Always has been and always will be missed.
