PatriciaPEARSON (NEE HOWORTH)Pat sadly passed away Tuesday, March 19 at The Woodlands HFE.
She was the dearly loved wife of the late Alan and loved and adored mum of Tony and the late Andrew. She was the much-loved and respected mum in law of Bev. She was a loving and loved grandma of Christopher, Daniel, Charlotte and Robert and ‘little nanna’ to great grandsons Joshua and Jacob. She was the dearly loved sister of Michael and the late Jimmy (windows) and special sister in law of Irene, Brian, Glennis and Joe and the late Sandra. She was also a wonderful aunty to all her nieces and nephews and good friend to many.
Born and bred in Church she lived on Lion St until moving to The Woodlands. Family was the most important thing to Pat and she and Alan loved nothing more than family get togethers. They also loved their holidays abroad and she loved Scotland. Pat also loved Christmas with her home turning into something like Santa’s Grotto every year. Her faith was also very important to her attending Sacred Heart every Sunday without fail and then St Joseph's and St Anne’s. She was a hardworking lady spending many years at Joseph Arnolds and then Platts. She would do anything for anybody and a kinder person you would struggle to meet.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Gina and the amazing ‘Woodlands’ family especially on Cedar who took such great care of Pat especially in her final days.
Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph's Church on Friday, April 5 at 10.15am followed by burial at Dill Hall Cemetery and then reception at the Whittaker’s Burnley Road Accrington.
Family flowers only but donations kindly accepted c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services to be split between Woodlands Amenities Fund & Alzheimer’s UK.
