The obituary notice of Catherine Mary PEARSON

I have just come across the news of Catherine’s passing. She was our next door neighbour when we lived in Claverton Down , we left there in the late 90’s but kept in touch at Christmas. It was always good to be able to share conversations about our Christian faith. May she rest in peace and rise in glory .

Thank you to the family, friends, neighbours, former colleagues and representatives of Winfield Lodge who came to (Catherine)Mary's funeral. You made it very special. Also, many thanks to Rev Tim Gleghorn of St Swithin's and Dolman Funeral Directors (Gwyn and Mrs Dolman and staff) who made everything run smoothly and perfectly. I am sure (Catherine) Mary would have been very pleased.

Catherine was my teacher at Hayesfield and my neighbour growing up. She was a great teacher of history and knew how to get girls working away. Later she got to know my children, and hid by the piano so I knew another side. I live a long way from Bath so was unable to visit these last few years, but until 2019 used to regularly. At peace with her friends Gwyneth, who died last year, and Doreen who died many years ago. x
