RitaPEARSONPassed away quickly at home on the morning of Monday 26th May 2025.

Beloved daughter of the late Eileen and Kenneth. Cherished partner of 42 years to David (Day), Devoted mother to Davy and Adele, sister to the late Malcolm as well as to Alan, Brenda, Kevin and June. A special nanna to Hollie, Leon, Theon, Raven and Rex. A loved mother-in-law and auntie also.

Mourners please dress as you seem fit. The funeral service is to take place on Wednesday 18th June 2025 in The Church of Ascension, at 11.30 am followed by burial in Thorntree Cemetery.

I learnt to be the woman I am today by the woman you were all my life. I love you mam, thank you for being the best mother that anyone could ever have. I could always count on you and you always showed up. “Be good to everyone on your way up as you may need them on your way back down” as you always said and I will hold onto that that forever. I will see the wide world out there as promised and I’ll continue to do you proud. I will love you till my dying day and more mam. This isn’t goodbye mam this is only just goodnight.
