Devoted husband and best friend to Gwen; much loved and loving dad to Andrew, Philip and the late Stephen; very dear father in law to Lynne, Jenny and Maggie and dearly loved grandpa to Chris, Matthew, Rachel and Jonathan. Private cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Waverley U.R.C., Waverley Rd, Huddersfield at 2.15 p.m. on Friday June 27th. Family flowers only please but if desired, donations may be given at the Service or c/o the Funeral Director, to be divided between Skye Mountain Rescue Service and Waverley U.R.C. Cheques should be made payable to Highfield Funeral Service and sent to West Croft, 144 Trinity Street, Huddersfield HD1 4DT.
