Gary was the most considerate, decent and gentle person. I’ll miss the workouts in the “orange gym” and the chats between sets or crouched down in the Yemeni restaurants! All the best Gary.

Sadly we could not join our family to say goodbye to you today dear Gary. However, being able to share the touching service online while sitting here at home on a fine golden Autumn day, brought us close to you all.
Dear cousin David, Marsha and Nina - also dear cousin Sue, Johan, Denise & Laurie - we missed being able to hug you all.
Gary, though we only spent brief get-togethers when fortunate enough to be visiting Torquay at the same time, we felt honored to have known you. . . . . also dear Aaron. We pray you are together again - two brothers who were 'simply the best'.

Goodbye Gary. I can picture you now in your yellow security sweatshirt working the door of the middlesex uni student union bar. Always gentle with that tremendous sense of humour, turning out and turning away riffraff with the patience of a saint. And then I have the memories of you teaching me to box, our training and sparring sessions and all the daft laughs we shared in between. You're missed more than you could imagine.

My dearest Gary. The best Brother I could wish for. A real ‘one off’, compassionate, loving, caring man, with a peaceful, laid back character. An intellect, with a huge love of the written word and education/learning. Everyone you met loved you. You were just an ‘all round’ good person. Friendly, chatty, intelligent and handsome! Never big headed though!
You left a mark on people’s hearts and I, as well as many others will miss you immensely, but I will carry you in my heart forever, until we meet again my beautiful Brother

Farewell Gary. Thank you so much for your great gift of friendship, the memories, the laughter and your company which I'll cherish forever. I was very lucky to have known you.
