CherryPENNYMrs Cherry Penny, of Great Harwood, died on Saturday, May 7, aged 72. Cherry was a pharmacy assistant at Lloyds Pharmacy in Whalley. She was also a volunteer at Saints & Lady’s Charity Shop, and loved cooking, painting, reading and gardening. She leaves son Mr Timothy John Penny, daughters Sarah Elizabeth Roundell and Olivia Katherine Penny, and granddaughters Amy Heather Penny and Juliet Margaret Roundell. The funeral will be held on Monday, May 30, at 3pm at Accrington Crematorium, with funeral reception at Churchfield House, Great Harwood, led by Fr Eddie Carr.
