Pauline ElizabethPEPPERBeloved daughter of Frank and Millicent Pepper and sister of Kathleen, longtime Braunstone resident Pauline Pepper left us on the afternoon of Saturday, January 17th, 2026, aged 97 years. Friends, neighbours and co-workers remember Pauline as a kind and friendly person, whose long tenured and fulfilling employment at Grahame Gardner/Gymphlex, saw her through from young adulthood to retirement.

Beyond work, Pauline devoted her life to her parents and other family members, particularly the younger ones, in whose lives she showed a deep and unwavering interest. She loved tending to her garden and took great pride in it. Since her sister's family emigration to Canada in 1959, Pauline maintained a keen interest in all things Canadian and family members there fondly remember visits she made with her parents.

Survived by her nephews Martin (Carrie), Neil (Lenore), Timothy (Paula) and Simon (Janine), Pauline is loved and will be missed as well by her grandnephews Adam (Amber), Connor (Nicki), Peter (Chelsea), Jonah, Matthew, Christopher and her great grandnephews Max, Aiden, Dawson and Harrison; great grandnieces Kathleen, Caroline, Madden and Isla; cousin- in- law Patricia Facer and her children Anthony, Graham, Maria and Bernadette; and Bernadette's children Charlotte and Jorja.

Pauline is pre- deceased by her parents Frank and Millicent Pepper, sister Kathleen and her husband Peter Blakesley; uncle Graham Neal and wife Doreen; aunt Marion Facer and husband Norman; cousin Desmond Facer; and niece-in-law Lenore Blakesley.

On Pauline's behalf, the family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Leicester Royal Infirmary and the doctors, nurses, other helping professionals and neighbours for the exemplary care and support given to Pauline, particularly in her final years. A very special thank you is extended to Maria Facer, whose care and oversight contributed greatly to Pauline's well- being, quality of life, and successful aging in place.

At Pauline's request, there will be no public memorial and those wishing to honour Pauline's life are invited to make a donation to a charity or cause of their choice in Pauline's memory.
