John HenryPERKSSadly on the 6th of October, Jack a former miner, Welsh Guard during WW2, then bookmaker of Tonyrefail, Williamstown, Penrhiwfer, Tonypandy and Penygraig and a member of the Llantrisant and Pontyclun Golf Club, passed peacefully away at his home, at the wonderful age of 101 years. Beloved husband of the late Moreen and then the late Moira, adored father of Joy and the late John and Lance, step father to Karen, Beverley and Corrine, a well respected brother-in-law and father-in-law. Treasured grampy, great grampy and great great grampy. Jack was loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed but never forgotten. A true legend to them all. Jack will take his final journey through Penygraig, Williamstown, Penrhiwfer and Tonyrefail, before arriving at his family home in Groesfaen before a private family funeral held at Thornhill Crematorium on Monday the 26th of October 2020. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired would be appreciated for The Royal British Legion, via a collection as you leave the crematorium or to the funeral home.
