Such a lovely gentleman. Rest in Peace Reg and keep on writing your beautiful letters. Lisa and John Williams and fond memories of chatting to Luke on the way to catch the bus in the morning all those years ago x

My wife Hazel and I would like to pay a tribute to my Uncle Reg, a man who lit up the room when he arrived and left it a happier and lighter place when he left.
We have been fortunate to spend more time with him over the last few years and always greatly enjoyed his company. He was a storyteller par excellence and like all great raconteurs never let the truth get in the way of a good story, and no matter how many times he told it he managed to make it better each time.
Even in his later years he dressed immaculately and behaved like a gentleman treating everybody with grace and a wry wit that left us all smiling. A handsome man full of good humour who was beloved by my sisters Vivienne and Hilary, and my brother Kevin and his wife Jan who spent many happy hours with him when they were younger.
Uncle Reg and I spent hours talking about sport, reflecting on the best values and impact of sport, he was the epitome of a true sportsman and a Corinthian of the old school. The world is a sadder place with his passing, but the memories and the stories will live on.
