FranPERRYIt is with deep sadness that we must inform all of Fran's friends that she passed away on the 18th of April. Fran was extremely well known in the local community. She was vibrant, caring, joyful and inspirational. As a teacher and running "University of the First Age" in Kirklees she made a real difference helping young people. Just last year she became a local labour councillor for Ashbrow Ward. She would have been a brilliant councillor but unfortunately, ill health prevented her taking on the role and she passed away peacefully as her brain tumour grew. If you wish to join us in commemorating Fran, hearing her story and sharing memories; please join us at Huddersfield Crematorium on Wednesday 17th May at 10:30 Donations along with all monies Fran received as a councillor will go to Local Causes for young people
