Former Royal Artillery and Long-standing member of Newport Symphony Orchestra

Resting in the private Chapel of
Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters Ltd,
106-108 Malpas Road, City of Newport
Until Funeral Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Service at St John’s Church, Maindee 12pm
Prior to interment at Usk Castle Chase Natural Burial Meadow 1:30pm
Immediate family flowers only please however
Donations would be appreciated for the Royal British Legion
and St David’s Hospice Care, can be made here

I send my thoughts, prayers and condolences to Anita and the family. I met and played with Derrick 3 years ago and continuing to play with the City of Newport Orchestra, I sat next to him on the 2nd desk in the orchestra. He was lovely to know and loved his sense of humour, very sadly missed but a pleasure to know and be a friend.
