BerniePHILLIPSGosforth 19/09/1930 - 09/02/2020, aged 89. Much loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. Sadly, passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, 9th February. Was seen every day waving to the children as they went to school, worked for Sir Robert McAlpine many years before retiring, married to Sylvia Phillips for 63 years. We would like to thank all the health professionals and everyone for their care and support during his illness and now their continued support. Friends please meet for funeral service and cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle, on Monday 24th February at 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations to the Stroke Association may be made at the funeral service
