Stuart WPHILLIPSOn 2nd November 2024, Stuart suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at home with his best friend by his side, aged 65.

Stuart was a colourful character who was very much loved by all who knew him. He was a loving Dad to Stuart, Rachel and Laura, a devoted Brother, Grandad, Uncle, Brother-in-Law and loyal and faithful friend to many. His untimely passing has come as a huge shock and he will be very sorely missed.

Stuart did not want a funeral service and insisted on a direct cremation; he wanted everyone who knew him to celebrate his life in their own unique ways. A memorial service will be held for Stuart in lieu of a 'traditional' funeral service, details of which will follow.

Stuart is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP.

No flowers please, but donations in lieu would be very gratefully received and will be shared between the local branch of the RNLI, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

A Farewell to a Devoted Brother and Uncle With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a truly remarkable man. As a devoted brother, he was my rock, my guide, and my friend, always offering love, wisdom, and support. To his nieces and nephews, he was the ultimate uncle—fun-loving, caring, and an inspiration. He brought joy to their lives and left a lasting imprint on their hearts. Though his time with us was too short, his love and kindness will live on in our memories forever. Rest in peace, dear brother. You will never be forgotten. Your heartbroken sister Tracy, Mark, Lexi and Millie xx

The hardest goodbyes are the ones you don’t see coming. The ones you don’t plan or could never imagine happening.
Such a good friend, loved by all and we will miss you.
