IrenePILNICKDearest Mum of Alison & Rachel. Cherished Grandma of Lily, Orla, Eva, Jude & Joe. A much loved sister, sister in law, mother in law, aunt and friend to many. Sadly passed away, peacefully, on November 29th 2020. A private funeral Mass will be held for Irene on 21st December. Family flowers only. Donations can be made in her memory to Home Start Birmingham North and Inner City. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Mike. My Auntie Irene. A very smartly dressed lady with perfect hair. I remember well how glam she looked at our wedding.
She always had a story to tell and I loved it when she gave away secrets from when my Dad was growing up!
She was so so proud of Alison and Rachel and I see many of her amazing qualities in them.
She always spoke so fondly of all her Grandchildren and loved to show off about their achievements and laughed as she described their cheeky escapades.
I always thought of her as such a cool Aunt who was loved by all she came across, including the many school children she helped and neighbours alike.
She would take on any situation and was not afraid to stand up for anyone who she felt was in need.
Aunty Irene you will be sadly missed. I’m sorry we didn’t get to have another big family celebration recently but when the time allows we will have one massive celebration in your honour. RIP. Back now with Uncle Mike x x x x x

Aunty Irene will always be remembered as a wonderful lady with great strength, kindness and affection for all of her family. Shared the Dunne trait for telling a good story, and always took time to ask how we were. Fond memories especially during my childhood when I lived in Birmingham. Rest in peace with uncle Mike.
