ChristopherPITTPassed away peacefully with Ann and daughter Sarah by his side. Funeral service to take place on Monday 11th April 2022 at Stoke Damerel Church at 11:00am followed by a private family burial. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, may be made directly to Marie Curie or via retiring collection. Only just heard of your passing Chris. So sad my friend. Although we only met on the circuit you helped me from the beginning. From 1991 when I started singing, you encouraged me to perform, following you around most weekends to the shows you would perform at. You allowed me to do a song or two in the early days & then working in with a 15min spot performing Elvis & swing. You even got me my first gig at the Post office Inn in Plympton. To me you were a gentleman never heard you say a bad word about any other performer, never got angry. You seemed to take life all in its stride. You were a role model. Chris it was a pleasure to know you I feel I owe you so much in those early days. My heart goes out to your family & I only wish I could have been at your service to say my goodbyes. Hope you are singing a Neil song in Heaven. God bless my friend. R.I.P. Your friend for ever, Eric Lovaine. x
