We will always have our wonderful memories of Colin and Lois welcoming us with open arms into their home and showing us Rochdale and the beautiful countryside on our many walks with them while we visited England. We miss them both.

I will miss you so much Grandad. The phone calls and converasations were always facininating in the way you told your stories. I'd love to hear them. Your days fishing or walking. You loved going down to Heywood on a Tuesday and sit in the cafe. You'd tell me what you had to eat that day and always made me smile.

That time you took me to Todmorden Flea Market and we saw that Metronome. Which you always wanted because of the film A River Runs Through It. I managed to pursuade you to get it as you didn't want "mum" to tell you off. £20 you spent for it and refurbished it like new.
So many fond memories and so much you taught me. You will forever be one the greats and now you can rest peacefully with Gran. xxx
