PLUMMERPLUMMER. - Gwen, of the Long Shoot, passed away very peacefully on August 22 2008 aged 97 years. A much loved mother, Nana, Great Grandma and friend. Gwen was a loving wife of Chris Cross (deceased) and Albert Plummer and a devoted mother of a son David (deceased) and a daughter Margaret. She will be greatly missed by Annette, daughter-in-law, six grandchildren Lynda, Nigel, Claire, Alison, Susan, Daron, eleven great-grandchildren Matthew, Mark, Melissa, Callum, Cameron, Ben, Jordan, Evie, Edward, Tess, baby Jack, and her younger brother Llew, wife Dorothy, her brotherin-law Cliff and all her extended family and friends. The funeral service will take place at 2.15 pm on Monday September 1st in St John's Methodist Church, Abbey Street followed by cremation at the Heart Of England Crematorium. Gwen requsted family flowers only with donations to Warwickshire Association for the blind if so desired which may be sent to W Smith and Sons, Avenue Road, Nuneaton.
