Carole ElizabethPOLLARD(née Hughes) Carole passed away peacefully on the 20th of June 2026, aged 84 years.

A deeply-loved wife of 65 years to Tony; cherished mother to Carl and Helen; devoted grandmother to Beth, Eddie, George and Theo (Tiff); adored sister of Kay; sister-in-law and auntie to quite a number of family members and a great friend to many.

Socially active with friends and neighbours, Carole touched many lives across the years. From a Cub Scout leader in the 1970's and 80's, Tesco employee and Bridge Club regular in the 90's, All Saints Mother's Union and Elderberries singing group member in the 2000's onwards, to Flower Club member and lately of the Togetherness singing group.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Carole's life will be held at Woodlands Crematorium on Wednesday the 15th of July 2026 at 11.20am.

At the family's request, no black attire please.

Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be made in Carole's memory to "Alzheimer's Society" c/o

Such sad news. I had the pleasure of working with Carole at Tesco for many years. Although we didn’t keep in touch much after she retired, I’ll always remember what a lovely lady she was. We shared so many laughs over the years, and she was always there to listen with kindness and without judgement.
Rest in peace, Carole. God bless you, my dear friend. You will be remembered fondly. ❤️
