George WilliamPOOLEIt is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of George Poole aged 79 years, peacefully in the presence of his family and caring staff at Astbury Mere Nursing Home. George was the dearly loved and loving husband of Gwyneth and together through 58 years of marriage raised sons Timothy, Mark and James who will miss the man they idolised dearly. George will also be missed by daughters-in-law Helen, Tracy and Grace and three devoted grandchildren Esmé, Cassian and Lena, also brother to Cathrine, Michael and the late Christine and a very dear brother-in-law and uncle. The celebration of his life will take place at St Lawrence Church, Biddulph at 12 noon on the 29th April followed by committal at Bradwell Crematorium at 1.20pm. The family kindly request family flowers only. Donations in memory of George to Alzheimer's Research would be truly appreciated.
