My dear Aunty Ro,

I will always remember your joyous chuckle and your big cuddles. You were always so happy, so kind and so generous with your time.

I always loved hearing your voice, knowing it wasn’t your original accent and wondering whether moving away myself might one day bring me one of my own.

I always looked forward to seeing you, you always made me feel special and it was such joy alone knowing I’d get your delicious cake! You always made me take some home and you’d always tell me to eat more.

We shared countless precious birthday weekends, blowing out the candles together and I never minded. I hope you didn’t either.

I am so grateful for that moment when I came to say goodbye, sweet kisses and smiles.

You will live on in my memory, my dear Aunt, reunited with Uncle Mike and with my beloved Grandmother Molly and Grandfather Geoff.

With love always. ❤️
