Hubert EranPORTESad to announce the passing of Dr. Hubert Eran Porte, MB FRCS Ed. DLO on Wednesday 29 May.

Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and husband, Hubert was consultant surgeon and unit officer at Lincoln General Hospital ENT department until his retirement in 1994. Hubert was a sheer force of nature to many and will be sorely missed.

Funeral Service: Friday 14 June, 11:15, Hereford Crematorium.

A consummate professional who worked to high standards, I remember this gentleman with admiration and sadness. I learnt well from Mr Porte whilst a student nurse. May he rest in peace.

my Dad working in an adjoining team (as a social worker supporting some of his clients) and remembers him as a professional, well respected in the Health Dept and who I’m sure will be remembered by all the patients in his care over the years.

A lovely man who operated on my throat in January 1988. He told me to stop smoking. Thanks to him I have never smoked again. RIP.
