AlanPORTEOUS(Wardley) In hospital on 24th January aged 71 years, Alan. Dearly loved husband of Ann, dearest Dad of Catherine and of son in law Graeme and much loved Grandy of Joseph. Also a dear brother of Michael, Marilyn, Deborah and the late Joan and Denise and a dear brother in law and uncle. Friends invited to service at Saltwell Crematorium on Monday 10th February at 1pm. All welcome afterwards at Eslington Villa. No flowers please but donations in lieu may given to a charity of your choice

Alan was a kind person to me when I was Clarke Chapman's first graduate trainee. He looked after me in the Commercial Department and was a source of inspiration. I've only just seen this now. Rest in peace my friend. Meurig Thomas December 2025
