RobinPORTERPassed away at home on the 25th July 2021 Aged 74 Years. Adored husband to Deborah. Son of the late Horace and Irene. Brother to John, Orry and the late Brian, brother-in-law to Ann, Sheila and Gillian. Loving Dad to Claire, Tim and Mike and partners Gareth, Fiona and Gill. Loving Grandad to Harry, Lili, Mary, Danny, Una Medb, Oscar, Ella and Isobelle. Caring uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Robin will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. Graveside Service will be held at Duke Street Cemetery on Tuesday 17th August at 2.30pm. Deborah has requested no sombre clothing or mourning suits please. I still can't get used to having to use the word 'was' about Rob. Lots of lovely memories like going to the FA Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday, with filled bagels brought from home, and Deb and I joining in with all the ladylike sweary chanting and Rob thinking this was normal (I like to assume). Doing the Sunday quiz in the paper and Rob proud of Deb for knowing so much more than me! Rob being so welcoming not only to me but to the boys too. But most of all, Rob and Deb being so happy together. Lots of love from Rosalind, Alan, Simon and Benjy xx
