Just heard about your adventures in Ballydavid, Co Kerry in 1977 on RTE Radio this evening, in a 1 hour story that I was riveted to. You were 22 years old then. Wonderful man wonderful adventures. RIP.

Uncle David,

I was worried that coming to see you in the hospital would leave me hurt and upset seeing you in that bed. But I have never being so glad to have done something in all my life.

I walked in and you did nothing but make us all laugh, joking with me and asking me how I was and how I’m doing. So considerate, like always.

I have worked with you, for you and gained some great life skills and memories I’ll never forget.

Thank you for everything you did for us and our family. You will be missed.

Love you deeply,
Love from Sam & Vicky & the kids.
