TerryPOTTERTerry Potter, of Linden Park Road, Ewood Bridge, passed away in the Royal Blackburn Hospital after suffering a stroke on October 14, aged 78 years.

Terry was an electrician and heating engineer for over 25 years at RAF Burtonwood Airbase in Warrington for the Department of Environment, before moving to Rossendale where he worked for McKiernan’s and then Gilland Services. He loved all sports and was happiest watching Accrington Stanley, playing his guitar, singing and spending time with his family. He was a member of Sunnybank Social Club, H.C.C and Rossendale Golf Club.

Terry leaves behind his wife Teresa, daughters Wendy and Kerry, Isaac, Lucas, Jude, Eleanor and Olivia (grandchildren). Son of the late Alice and Walter Potter and brother of the late Derek and Doreen Potter.

A funeral will be held on October 31 at St Peter’s Laneside, Haslingden at 12.30pm followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery at 1.30pm.
