The obituary notice of Arthur POTTERTON

My mother June worked for Arthur and his partner Molly for many years in stoney stanton cleaning and ironing for them, as a child our house was always full of Arthurs freshly ironed shirts. my parents became very good friends with them both over the years, and they both still remembered me many years later when i took on a delivery job in the village 20 years later.i remember him always being in his greenhouse and made the most beautiful hanging baskets and grew the best tomatoes. He was such a lovely kind , caring man and will always be remembered , not just by our family but many other people in the village.

Uncle Arthur was an extraordinary man and loved by all his family even here in Canada. He was my mother Joyce's brother who also passed away 10 years ago.
