Lawrence 'Laurie'POWELLPOWELL Lawrence 'Laurie' On 24th April 2023, suddenly, but peacefully in hospital, of Mirfield, aged 88 years, Laurie, loving and devoted husband of Eugenia (Jean), loving and dedicated dad of David and Victoria, respected father-in-law of Paul, a wonderful, adoring, and proud grandad of Thomas, Samuel and Iwan, a dearly loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Funeral service will be held at St Andrew's Methodist Church, Mirfield, on Wednesday 24th May 2023 at 11:30am, followed by committal at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium. Family and friends please gather at the church, family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made for the benefit of The British Heart Foundation, The Happy Memories Group at St Andrew's Church and Carers Trust, Mid Yorkshire.
