ElizabethPOWLEY(Whorlton Grange) Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 20th September 2026, aged 82 years.

Elizabeth, a loving mother of Rhonda, Alyson and Karen. Much loved mother-in-law of Geoff, Simon and Michael. Proud and devoted Grandma of Liam, Charlotte, Lewis, Owen, Jessica, Matthew and their partners Kyla, Marc, Shannon, Talia, Damian and Emily. Special Great-Grandma to Albie, Gracie and Brody.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at St Gabriel's Church, Heaton on Wednesday 7th October at 12:45pm. Interment to follow at Heaton Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only, a donation box will be in church for her chosen charity.

Now at peace with her beloved husband Albert.

Forever in our hearts and thoughts.

Grandma bet,
It’s been nearly 7 years now since I came into this family but from day 1 you treat me like your own.

Betty, you were a very Special Lady & true friend and neighbour to my Mam. You made our wedding day complete when you turned up outside the registry office.
