Maurice passed away peacefully at home on 9th September 2024, aged 85 years.
Maurice came to Liverpool to work at John Moores University and was a gifted teacher. As a young man he spent nearly twenty years living in Zambia, South Africa and Botswana and was a great traveller, visiting Machu Picchu, Singapore and the Himalayas and driving overland to and around Iceland. He settled in Old Swan with his much loved wife, Annie, and became a well-known local character who will be sadly missed by his family and friends and everyone whose life touched his.
Maurice will be resting in the Chapel at Cravens Funeral Directors from Wednesday 18th September
Funeral service will take place on Friday 27th September at Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium at 11:30am
