Honorah 'Nora'PRESTAGEHonorah 'Nora' PRESTAGE (nee Creamer) of Beech Close, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 9. In her early years she was a housemaid back in Eire, Co Tipperary. At the age of 22 she moved to England to work as a housemaid in Lostock Hall, Preston. After meeting her late husband, Roland Prestage, they lived briefly in Church and then moved to the Lake District where she did bed and breakfast and eventually returned to settle in Oswaldtwistle working for Lancashire County Council as a domestic for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her holidays would be going back to Eire to visit family. She had daughters Madaline and Kate, sons the late Michale and Noel, daughter-in-law Shirley, sons-in-law Bary and Stephen, grandchildren Noel, Charlote, Danny, Kirsty, Lauren, Kayleigh and Courtney and great-grandchildren Elisia, Jessica, Clio, Joshua and 'bump'.
