Phil I have known since I was 15 years old when we both started our Electrical apprenticeships at HM Dockyard Devonport. He got me involved in a band he was in called the Trucial States. Around 1970/71 we had completed our apprenticeships and went on the road touring Europe and throughout the UK. I and other band-mates have been trying to locate him for years, its ironic that now we find he has passed. A wonderful person and friend who I have many fond memories of. God bless you Phil, next time I hear thunder I will think of you playing your bass. Love Tony

Phil was a Loyal ,Generous and Warm Hearted friend .Sadly missed by all who knew him.The 60's Generation will remember him as the Bass guitar and back up singer in the Trucial States pop group. His natural kindness will endure through his Children and Granddaughter. So long Phil, and thanks for your friendship.Llew Herbert .x
