VeraPRIORIn loving memory of Vera Prior, born 31st May 1934. Vera sadly passed away peacefully following a long illness on Friday 28th January, aged 87. Vera worked as a weaver at Grane Mill in Haslingden in the early years, but spent many years of her working life at Rist's Wires and Cables till her retirement in 1989. Her favourite hobby was flower arranging and loved many holidays abroad to Benidorm and Tenerife, she will be sadly missed by many. Vera was the eldest daughter of the late Clifford and Florence Hughes and the much loved wife to the late John Prior, she was a loving sister to Vincent and the late Irene, she leaves her son Steven and partner Mel, her daughter Susan and son in law Brian, grandchildren Sharon and husband Craig, Vici, Fiona and husband Heath, Christopher and partner Leanne, and Gemma, great grandchildren Sam, Ohrran, Mia, Ellie, Fintan, Louie, Ronnie, Mila and Bronagh. The funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on 18th February at 1.00pm.
