With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Dziadek, Andrzej Przychodzki, who passed away peacefully on 7 September 2026.

Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1941, during Nazi occupation, Andrzej lived a remarkable and full life.
In 1982, he and his family made the courageous escape from communist Poland to begin a new life in Canada, arriving with just three suitcases. Through hard work, determination and resilience, he built a life he was proud of and a future for his family. After 30 years in Canada, Andrzej and his beloved wife, Halina, eventually moved to the United Kingdom, where they spent their retirement together.

Andrzej was a well-travelled man with a deep love of history and geography, as well as cars and European football. He loved music, laughter and ballroom dancing, especially dancing with Halina, and had a particular love for animals, especially dogs. But above all, his greatest joy and pride was his family.

He is survived by his adored wife of 57 years, Halina; his three children, Peter, Agnes and her husband Gianpaul and Elizabeth and her partner Chris; and his four cherished grandchildren, Alexandra (18), Zosia (15), Sofia (12),
and Ewan (12).

To his children, he will always be Tata. To his grandchildren, he was their beloved Dziadek.
His strength, resilience, love and the values he gave his family will live on through all of them.
He lived a life filled with love, family, adventure and memories that will remain with us forever.

Tata, Dziadku... we love you. Forever.

Andrzej's funeral service will be held at Polish R.C. Church - Christ the King; St. Maksymilian Kolbe Parish,
Prince Charles Avenue, Derby, DE22 4BG on Monday 21st September 2026 at 14:00pm followed by
a private family only service at Markeaton Crematorium.

Following the Church service, the family warmly invite you to share more memories of Andrzej at
Kedlaston Country House, Kedlaston Road, Derby, DE22 5JD

Family flowers only.

Donations made in lieu will be sent to Ward 2 Florence Nightingale Unit Community Hospital.
