William (Willy)PURVIS(Ex. Grimsby Town Footballer) Peacefully on the 30th of July 2012 after a long illness bravely borne at his home in Cleethorpes in the arms of his family. Willy aged 73 years of Cleethorpes. Loving and devoted husband of Chris. Much loved dad of Christine and Michael. Dear father-in-law of Dave and Seva, dear grandad of Kirsty, Bethany, Robyn, Michael and Ella. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed. The service is to take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday the 17th of August 2012 at 1.00pm Willy is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP. Family flowers only please by request or if so desired donation in lieu made payable to Alexanders Donation Account and the final sum will be forwarded to St Andrews Hospice. Everyone will be made welcome back at the Carr Lane Social Club to celebrate the life of Willy.
