MaryPURVISIt is with great sadness we announce the death of Mary Purvis, (widow of the late Richard Straker Purvis), who passed away peacefully on 25th February aged 102 years, in Hawthorn Court Care Home. Mary was a loving mam of Eileen, Colin and Carole, David and Jan, grandma of Caroline and Mathew, Gillian, Mark and Wendy, Michael, Alison, John and Claire and great-grandma of Alex, Joshua and George. Funeral service to be held at South Shields Crematorium on Thursday 16th March at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please, donations welcomed for Alzheimer's Society.
