It is with immense sadness we announce that our beloved husband and father Terry Pye died on July 12th, after a short battle with cancer.
He stayed at home until Wednesday July 5th when he moved to Katharine House, our truly beautiful local hospice. We can never express our thanks enough for the care and love he received there.
He was a man of faith and lived his life in service to the Lord Jesus in Blackburn and South Korea, and retired in 2006 after 16 years as vicar of Castle Church, Stafford.
He thoroughly enjoyed walking the fells for 9 years while living in Borrowdale, Cumbria. He returned to Stafford in 2015.
We will celebrate his life and faith on Thursday, July 20th at 2.30 at Church Lane Evangelical Church in Stafford.
Thank offerings received will be divided between Katharine House Hospice and Overseas Missionary Fellowship with whom Terry served for 13 years in Korea.
