David PhillipQUINTONMr David Phillip Quinton, of Irwell House, Waterfoot, died in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Friday, March 8 after suffering with ill health for quite some time aged 65 years. Lifetime resident and well known in Waterfoot. David enjoyed watching movies and also in his younger years he enjoyed fishing. Just before the pandemic in 2020, David moved into Irwell House and settled there making lots of new friends. David leaves his sister Brenda, brother-in-law Geoff, his nephews; Colin and his wife Yvonne and Steven. His funeral is due to take place on Thursday, March 28, when Mr Damien Philips will conduct a Celebration of Life Service and Committal at Burnley Crematorium at 12.15pm. The family have requested family flowers only with donations if desired in memory of David will be gratefully received for the British Heart Foundation via the funeral director: Sharon Aspinall for Agápe funeral service.
