Ernest ArthurRADFORDRADFORD - ERNEST ARTHUR (ERNIE), April 17, 2020. Ernie died peacefully in hospital after a long but courageous battle with kidney failure aged 83 years. Remembered fondly by many for his quick wit and one liners. Dad could have strangers in stitches at the Asda checkout. A lovely man who saw the good in everyone. He had a passion for horse racing, snooker and Everton. Will be missed by colleagues where he worked as a pipe fitter welder for 40 years. Missed too by all the nurses and patients at Broadgreen dialysis unit. Nobody had a bad word for 'Ernie'. Devoted husband of the late Joan. Dearly loved dad of Gina, Stephen, Julie and Paula. Father in law of Tony, Mike and Rob. Dearly loved grandad of Anthony, Natalie, Craig, Katie, Laura, David, Liam, Becky and Liv. Great grandad to Quinn, Seth, Ruben, Taylor and Leo. Brother of Ken, Sid, Phyllis and Ruth and families. Cremation 12th May at Anfield Cemetery. No flowers please, donate to www.kidney.org.uk
