EdnaRAEPeacefully in the loving care of the Hollies Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 30, Edna, aged 88, of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted wife of the late Brian, loving mum of David, loved mother-in-law of Marian, and dear brother of Danny. Edna was a full-time mother and housewife, devoting herself to her late husband Brian and son David. Holidays were always a favourite time for Edna and she loved nothing more than getting away in the caravan, visiting various places across the UK. Edna loved all sports, especially football, and always kept up to date with her teams, Accrington Stanley and Liverpool. Edna spent the last four years living at the Hollies Nursing Home where she was happy, content, and lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, at 11.40am at Accrington Crematorium. Funeral director: Champ Funeral Services, Clayton-le-Moors.
