Michael HenryRAFFERTYPeacefully at home, with his loving family at his side, on Sunday 9th July 2023, aged 73 years. Beloved husband of 40 years to Sue, devoted Daddy to Colleen and Michelle, respected father-in-law of Gavin, proud and mischievous Dadcu to Griff. Mick will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Private service at Aberystwyth Crematorium on Thursday 20th July at 12 noon, followed by a public service to celebrate his life at Holy Trinity Church, Aberaeron, at 2pm. Donations if desired will be gratefully received towards "Bronglais Chemotherapy Unit Appeal" c/o Myra Bennett, Gelli Deg, Lampeter Road, Aberaeron, SA46 0ED. Further enquiries: J. T. Mick and I shared digs together whilst working on the A465 and several others contracts too and had such fun times, miss his loyalty and sense of humour - rest in peace old friend and rise in glory xx

So sorry to hear that you have been taken away from us. I started working with you when I was fifteen when with Maenex in Synod Inn. We both went onto Glyn Davies and Alun Griffiths
We had a lot of fun, you tried teaching me a few things about horse racing, I would be better off in a donkey Derby. Today I have rembered you whilst walking with my distant cousins who are over from Canada raising funds for cancer treatment. Take care my friend see you on the other side. Aled
