It's with deep sadness that the family announce the death of Hilary Raines who passed away peacefully on 13th June 2026 at the Spring House Care Home in Hornsea, aged 83 years.
Loving wife of Norman, mum to David, in law to Nicola and grandma to Jack and Logan. A much-loved sister to John and Bill, aunt, great aunt, friend and neighbour to many that knew her.
A gathering to celebrate Hilary's life will be held at 12 noon on Friday 21st August at Lelley Fields Crematorium (Birch Hall), Sproatley Road, Preston, HU12 8FX.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired can be made online to the Alzheimer's Society or may be donated at the service. "No dress code, come as you are."
All are welcome after the service to join us for a drink at the Stag Inn at Lelley to continue to remember Hilary and to share more stories.
