Wonderful memories of Mr Rainforth who was my teacher for both English and mathematics .
The years 1951 to 55.
A long time ago but still thank him for all his dedication.
RIP

Mr Rainforth was an inspiring and legendary maths teacher at Eastfiled in the late 1970s and early 1980s when I was there. RIP.

Mr Rainforth was my maths teacher before I left Eastfield in 1968. He was a great chess player too. I thank him for stimulating my interest in mathematics (he didn’t like the abbreviation to maths!). He was one of those inspirational teachers that we remember fondly now.
RIP

Tony Rainforth was our English teacher at Eastfield High for several years, circa 1955 to 59, A good straight talking guy who had a no nonsense approach, Gave you praise when it came and reprimanded when "being discipline was required".
Happy days at Eastfield
