RonRAMSAY(Dunston) Peacefully on 4th February in his 92nd year, Walter Ronald (Ron). Dearly loved Husband of Sheila, dearest Dad of Ian and Stuart, dear Father in Law to Julie and Lynne and a much loved Grandpa, Great Grandpa and Uncle. A private family funeral will take place. Donations in lieu of flowers and in memory of Ron may be sent if desired to the Great North Air Ambulance

Ron was a much-loved member of Whickham Local History Society. He was a founder member of the Society in 1975 and served on the committee and as Treasurer and Honorary Auditor of the Society's accounts for nearly thirty years. He was a wonderful friend, always cheerful and with a gleam in his eye. We pass on our deepest sympathy to Sheila and family. Richard Pears, Secretary of Whickham LHS.
